[Bug]: CentOS 10 VM boot process stops with message "Fatal glibc error: CPU does not support x86-64-v3" after VirtualBox update from 7.2.6 -> 7.2.8

What happened?

After updating VirtualBox from version 7.2.6a -> 7.2.8 my Virtual Machine running CentOS 10 stops booting. I get the error: "Fatal glibc error: CPU does not support x86-64-v3". It seems that the virtual CPU does not support the necessary instruction set.

I uninstalled 7.2.8 and reinstalled 7.2.6a and the virtual machine booted without any problems.

Thanks for the report, that is indeed a regression from 7.2.6 when VirtualBox has to use Hyper-V on Windows, will be fixed in the next maintenance release.
