Older AMD GPU's

I've added RDNA4 support and I've seen a few comments around and some questions on when I'll be supporting older GPU's like the GFX1010 type GPU's.

Yes, I will be doing it but there's quite a bit of difference between GFX1010 GPU's and GFX1100/1200 GPU's which may warrant its own backend. Theres different instruction encodings and things like Wave64 vs Wave32 to worry about.

Also, if anyone is running even older GPU's just let me know I am happy to go further back if there's interest.

If anyone is following this issue, I've started supporting RDNA2. If anyone with that hardware is willing to test please let me know. If not I will edit the emulator eventually.

I'm interested in seeing support for the gfx1031 architecture (specifically the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT / 6750 XT). I have an RX 6750 XT and would be more than happy to provide my hardware for testing and feedback on performance and compatibility. My setup is a bit unique: I'm running the RX 6750 XT via an eGPU enclosure. I’ve been experimenting with this configuration for a while now and can provide detailed logs or run specific benchmarks to help you debug any architecture-specific or interface-related issues.

I currently support GFX1030, if you have the time, it would be good to test if 1) my compiler handles minor sku differences and 2) Actually seeing if gfx1030 support works as I don't currently have the means to test this on hardware. I've tested it against LLVM dumps but thats as far as I can get. If you can, would it be okay if you ran some tests? currently all my implementations for AMD are on the master branch.

Would remote access to RDNA1 / RX 5500XT / gfx1012 be of interest? If so, preferred environment? Debian?

Apologies for the late reply, still getting used to being back at university. Yes this is of interest being able to run on older machines is actually one of the things I want to target. I'll have a look into the ISA docs. Environment doesn't matter too much I'll meet you with what OS you have.

For GCN, as I understand, it is very similar to CDNA? So are GCN cards easier than RDNA? Seeing as CDNA is supported?
