I was able to pull something basic together pretty quickly. It works with my related Katello change https://github.com/jturel/katello/pull/1/changes Of course, it's lacking in the finer details.
@adamruzicka when you get some time curious what you think about this - so far - and any high level details about things that would need to be here to make it viable. Remember that this is something I am doing in my free time, so no rush.
Does this need its own executor of some kind?
