💫 About Me:

I am a systems programmer and Linux Kernel Developer (luka.gejak@linux.dev). My core focus is on low-level system architecture, networking subsystems, and driver development.

My expertise includes:

  • Linux Kernel Development: Actively contributing patches and improvements to the hsr subsystem, as well as reviewing and contributing to the staging/rtl8723bs driver.
  • Driver Porting: Developing modern mac80211-based ports for legacy drivers. Most notably, porting the rtl8723bs and rtl8723bu drivers to the modern rtw88 wireless framework to replace the legacy staging driver and rtl8xxxu driver.
  • Android Custom Kernels: Building and optimizing custom kernels, such as my 4.19.x kernel port for the Samsung Exynos990 series, specifically optimized for Kali NetHunter.
  • Systems Engineering: Building high-performance, terminal-based system utilities and engaging in hardware-level security research.
