I am a systems programmer and Linux Kernel Developer (luka.gejak@linux.dev). My core focus is on low-level system architecture, networking subsystems, and driver development.
My expertise includes:
- Linux Kernel Development: Actively contributing patches and improvements to the
hsrsubsystem, as well as reviewing and contributing to thestaging/rtl8723bsdriver. - Driver Porting: Developing modern
mac80211-based ports for legacy drivers. Most notably, porting thertl8723bsandrtl8723budrivers to the modernrtw88wireless framework to replace the legacy staging driver and rtl8xxxu driver. - Android Custom Kernels: Building and optimizing custom kernels, such as my 4.19.x kernel port for the Samsung Exynos990 series, specifically optimized for Kali NetHunter.
- Systems Engineering: Building high-performance, terminal-based system utilities and engaging in hardware-level security research.
